How to setup BigPond email

 Bigpond setup is very easy to configure is not so hard that cannot be done by Non-technical Kill based person. Before you setup your Bigpond email you should the OS of your device and email apps using for example Outlook 365, Apple Mail, Thunderbird, Mail washer, Windows mail app or smart device like Android phone, tablet and Apple iPad and iPhone.

BigPond Email Setting Manually

IMAP Settings For Incoming Email

Username: Bigpond email address

Password: Bigpond Password or App Generated password

Server: Imap.telstra.com or mail.bigpond.com

Port Number 993

Encryption: Select SSL

POP Settings For Incoming Email

Username: Bigpond email address

Password: Bigpond Password or App Generated password

Server: Pop.telstra.com or mail.bigpond.com

Port Number 995

Encryption: Select SSL

 

Outgoing Settings for Bigpond Email

Server: Smtp.telstra.com or smtp.bigpond.com

Port Number 465 or 587

Encryption: Select SSL

Click save and Check Email Inbox.

 

For Android and IOS Bigpond email Settings

Open Settings Go to Accounts (Apple Mail<Accounts)

Add Account

Enter Bigpond username and Password and Apple (Name>Email>Password? Description)

Click Save or Next
